Everyone’s Doing It
Guess what! I got a Twitter account. I feel like a bit of a traitor, considering that ever since Twitter started I’ve been saying how it doesn’t make sense, and seems so silly. Who needs a Twitter when you have Facebook?
Well, apparently I do. And I think I should admit that I didn’t get a Facebook until long after everyone else had one, because I thought it was stupid. I had email, who needed something else to distract me?
And now I have email, Twitter, Facebook, GoogleReader and a blog. Phew. I think it’s time for me to accept that I will always have neck problems from staring at my computer into the wee hours of the morning, and I will never stop looking at conversations as “a good blog post.” At least not any time soon.
Me and the internet? We’re in this for the long haul.
